Great to know how the vocational system works, the buy-in of all employers, the role and significance the job centre plays in the local communities and interventions from year 8 to make career choices. I look forward to implementing what my colleagues and I have learnt to work on forming a local, strong alliance with employers and try to adopt Hellersdorf’s model of best practice in Burnley, which will raise the value, and reputation of apprenticeships. I also hope to discuss the possibility of introducing a shared ‘job shop’ between QEU and Burnley College at the ‘Instructor and Manager level’.
